Text Box: AGES 5-6 We have a "Kindergarten program" that teaches kids how to learn, to know right and left on cue, self-control, focus and respect. This is done in an environment that uses games, props and constant motion to encourage learning and participation. The goal of the kindergarten program is to prepare young students for our Children's program. Images Text Box: AGES 6-12 Our "Children's program" teaches kids how to, and when it is appropriate to, defend themselves. It also teaches them respect for themselves and others, self-confidence, self control, integrity, self-discipline and helps to keep them fit. Children are required to bring their report cards in every marking period. The instructors reward them with a special belt stripe for doing well and help make a plan to improve if necessary. Images Text Box: AGES 12 and up Our "Adult program" combines all the virtues of our other programs but in an adult, and more intense setting. This well-rounded class incorporates traditional martial arts, realistic self-defense, and physical fitness. It provides excellent stress relief and self-confidence for today's fast paced lives. Images Text Box: AGES 18 and up Our cardio karate program is a self-paced boot camp/kickboxing workout. It incorporates running, weights, cross-training, plyometrics, bagwork, and core strengthening for a total body workout. Each class is different to achieve your fitness goals. The cardio program is located in the main level building adjacent to our karate school. Images

Our Black Belt Club:

The Black Belt Club targets karate students who are green belts and above.  Nominated by an instructor, these students receive advanced level training in special sessions taught by each of our instructors.  The goal is to foster commitment and motivation to achieve the rank of Black Belt and learn leadership skills. 

We have both an excellent children’s as well as adult program here at Smith’s Karate.
